The Last Acorn

Hello there!

Welcome to The Last Acorn, you play as a devoted squirrel parent whose acorn stash has been stolen by a mysterious beast. With winter fast approaching, you must leap from branch to branch, navigating the forest to collect enough acorns to ensure your babies survive the cold season.

About the Game

As you tuck your tiny baby squirrels into their tiny baby bed, happy as can be, you hear a frightening noise coming from your acorn stash. You rush down to ensure your acorns are still collected. A large, scary beast has pillaged all of your acorns!! With winter fast approaching, you must venture out into the forest to collect enough acorns for your babies to make it through the harsh winter.

How to Play

1. Currently, our game is only available for Windows or macOS.  

2. You can play with keyboard but we highly recommend that you play with controller 

3. There is no saving feature yet! But it's a pretty short game :)

About the Team

The Last Acorn was created by a group of five as a class project for Stanford's CS247G: Design for Play. We have worked on the game for the past five weeks, and this is our final project submission! We plan to continue working on the game and eventually release it on Steam. If you have any feedback, suggestions, or notes, please put them in the comments. Thank you!!
